The future of advanced artificial intelligence will not be decided inside the companies developing AI alone. We want it to be shaped by public debate, by citizens, politicians, and international negotiations too.

AI safety cannot be addressed from a single narrow perspective. That is why we bring together experts in the risks of artificial intelligence, the development of modern technology, campaigns, communication, and advancing change in public policy.

We are an initiative grounded in expertise, open collaboration, and respect for scientific evidence.

Ondřej Krása

AI risks

Ondřej heads the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the University of Pardubice. He works academically on AI risks, writes the blog Budoucnost s AI? (A Future with AI?) about them, and lectures at universities, secondary schools, conferences, and for the general public. He is the principal investigator of a Technology Agency of the Czech Republic project focused on epistemic biases in AI. Ondřej is an experienced manager in both the non-profit sector and academia. Alongside his academic roles, he chairs the board of trustees of the non-profit organisation Cesta domů.

Amálie Kovářová

Campaigns and communication

Amálie turns complex social and specialist topics into something people can understand. In recent years she filled Prague's Old Town Square with the Together for Ukraine demonstration, created viral campaigns with millions of views for Milion chvilek and Paměť národa, and brought her film to more than 80 screenings across the country. She has long communicated research topics for the Czech Academy of Sciences, built a network of engaged citizens and international contacts, and shown she can turn complex questions into content that reaches millions of people.

Tamara Kováčová

Public policy, advocacy and collaboration

Tamara has more than ten years of experience advancing systemic change in public policy. She has helped prepare legislative and strategic changes in the areas of human rights and education, and through her work she cooperates over the long term with ministries, expert institutions, and the civil-society sector. She also knows how to build and strengthen networks of organisations. Her strength is turning expert proposals into concrete political solutions. She can help a larger number of organisations come together around one key goal.

Martin Vraný

Technology and AI

Martin is a data analyst and software developer specialising in agentic AI systems. Building concrete technical solutions has given him a strong command of the architectures and implementations of today's AI. He holds a doctorate in philosophy and cognitive science, studied economics, was awarded a Fulbright scholarship, and completed a fellowship at UC Berkeley. He founded and, for many years, taught lectures on critical thinking. Beyond the technical aspects of artificial intelligence, Martin focuses on AI safety and the impact of AI on the labour market.
